Second Kitchen, helmed by the talented chef Christine Lee, offers a modern American culinary experience focused on seasonality and delightful flavors.

This restaurant has become a favorite lunch destination for the discerning upper-class residents of Hannam-dong. Booking a table for lunch is essential. While their pricing veers slightly above average for the area, the dining experience is worth every penny. Analog Kitchen entices diners with its Italian Fusion Bistro concept.

This establishment boasts two standout dishes, namely the grilled calamari with rice topped with a fried egg (priced at 12,000KRW) and the blue crab spaghetti. Each dish surprises with both presentation and flavors. The creamy, sweet notes from the sauce and the crab meat are sure to bring a smile to your face.

While classic pasta and rice dishes grace the menu, along with mouthwatering pork cutlets, Analog Kitchen is known for its affordability. It's an ideal spot for an intimate dinner for two, offering a cozy ambience that perfectly complements their comfort food and home-style cooking. Although their capacity is smaller compared to Libertine and Second Kitchen, the unassuming decor adds to the venue's charm. Please note that parking is not available, so we recommend taking a taxi and providing the driver with the address for seamless navigation.

Journey to Hanwadam for the Korean equivalent of Kobe beef, known as Hanwoo beef.

This establishment expertly dry ages the beef at a low temperature, then skillfully cooks it on a sizzling hot skillet right before your eyes, reminiscent of the culinary experience offered in Japan when serving Kobe beef.

While other Seoul restaurants also serve this prized delicacy, Hanwadam distinguishes itself with its unique cooking method and the delectable fried rice that accompanies the main event. Moreover, the contemporary interior and atmosphere lend a refreshing touch to the dining experience at Hanwadam.

Their generous 160g portion sizes of beef are reasonably priced, starting from 33,000KRW for the aged tenderloin and increasing to 46,000KRW for the aged chuck flap tail. Considering all their beef is of the highest quality grade, 1++, it presents an exceptional value.

Hanwadam is conveniently located close to the Hannam 5-way junction and Second Kitchen.

Hwangsogo Restaurant reigns supreme as the premier Korean barbecue destination in Itaewon. Surprisingly, this establishment has earned the 55th spot on the esteemed "Top 100 Bloggers Top 100 Restaurant Guide for Seoul," an impressive feat considering the city's abundance of Korean barbecue venues. We wholeheartedly endorse this restaurant, even if you must navigate the seedier side of Itaewon to reach it.

The must-try item at Hwangsoso Restaurant is "Tong-kalmaegisal," or pork skirt meat, a beloved cut of meat among Seoulites. Derived from the belly side of the pig, this particular cut boasts a darker hue, exceptional juiciness, and a milder pork flavor than pork belly. While other pork cuts are available, we maintain that this delicacy is the star of the show, and you will likely find it adorning every table. The attentive staff will happily grill the meat for you, along with garlic. Should they overlook the garlic, kindly remind them to roast it alongside the meat for an enhanced dining experience.

The restaurant is located uphill next to the fire station in Itaewon. After a brief yet worthwhile ascent, spanning just a few hundred meters, the restaurant will materialize on your right side. A car tire shop flanks it for your ease of reference.
