The Living Kaleidoscope

In Korean culture, color holds great significance. It is beautifully showcased in the traditional clothing called Hanbok, with its imaginative blend of hues and patterns. The traditional Korean table offers a delightful array of vibrant colors and flavors. As the seasons change in Korea, each one reveals distinctive hues, particularly in the awe-inspiring mountains during the enchanting fall season.

In the northern part of Seoul rests Bukhansan, the highest mountain in Korea, standing tall at 836.5 meters. Referred to as the "big mountain in the north," its peaks served as the northern border of Seoul during the Joseon Dynasty. To safeguard the king in times of emergency, the magnificent Bukhansanseong Fortress was built. Stretching across approximately 8500m, this architectural marvel harmonizes beautifully with the granite peaks. Its accessibility attracts over 5 million visitors annually, inviting them to immerse themselves in the captivating world of vibrant colors surrounding Seoul.

While strolling along the trails, you will encounter trees radiating their magnificent shades. The picturesque fall foliage puts on a splendid display, turning the area into a must-visit autumn destination. The stream that flows through the canyons and granite peaks creates a serene symphony of nature.
